After some years of waiting, the Asphodelus fistulosus in the garden is finally flowering!

It is native to the Mediterranean region and itis an invasive exotic weed in the United States, with significant infestations in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas (says Wikipedia). It is listed as a Federal Noxious Weed by the United States Department of Agriculture. Who would have thought that.
