Little boys, big dreams

Here is my son in front of a limo! He wasn't allowed to sit in it and that sort of explains his look. Not impressed!

He loves the idea of being driven around in a limo, and who knows which birthday that might become reality. Being close to one is a start...? We visited the Home Show in Tauranga today with my main interest the quake proof house on display. Yes, the sampling of all sorts of yummy drinks and little nibbles, the endless demo's of stuff you can really do without and many treats for the boys in the shape of lollies, lollipops, balloons, stickers, pens, money boxes, word finders, helicopter things, and the hit of the day.... not sure what you call these. They look like tube balloons and you bang them together at any sports event. Those things provided great once back home to have fake fights with and nobody got seriously hurt. The hubby got ab it annoyed with us but we had a wonderful full contact match in all the commercial breaks!

The quake house (built out of ex-shipping containers) was interesting, and I felt very much in my element in it. Definitely on top of the list once we are going to build.

Have a Happy Monday : )
