Baird Hall

Built as a hotel, now a block of flats, back in 1994 this was Strathclyde Uni's Baird Hall of Residence, where I lived when I came up to uni, quite an experience! My Gran remembered this listed Art Deco building being built in the 30s, it was the tallest building built at that time, and was known as Glasgow's first skyscraper. Read more here.
