Trash Bashers

Marciana is a restaurant/hostel owner here in Las Tunas with an ardent love of her community.

When she asked for help painting signs so that people would quit throwing trash into our (dry) river I happily obliged. After the sun had set a little group of us gathered to post them.

Today the signs stand proud in their defiance of litterers.
