Celebratory Carrot Cake

A trip to Ruthin Craft Centre Restaurant today to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Cake was most definitely on the menu.

Also saw 3 excellent exhibitions.
Cloud Nylon: The Jewellery of Nora Fok. Stunning creations all made out of nylon thread which has been dyed and then in most cases knitted.

Sasha Kagar - textile artist and knitter. Lots of beautiful cardigans and jumpers and designs.

Slip .... - lots of different artists creating pottery using slip as a decorative glaze. Nice to see contemporary designs as well as the more traditional.
