Lady Slipper Orchid

Officially Britain's rarest plant and in N.Lancs we have good few well protected specimens guarded by Natural England. Visited two sites today one is a foreign import albeit planted over a 100 years ago and the others have be reintroduced from native stock. I would have liked to have spent more time setting up shots but some bloke who claimed to be a professional wildlife photographer was hogging all the best spots with lens the size of a bazooka and tripod to match. I'm up he next week for a meeting so I will call in for a picnic and take my time and get the shots I want.
