A Grand Day Out

We've just come in from a grand day out. We started off with one of Mr Blogs's special waffle breakfasts, then it was off to the beach with Bella.

We had a fine time with lots of sandcastle building, games of hide and seek in the dunes, a picnic and at least three games of 'I spy', all accompanied by warm sunny weather. We watched gannets diving for fish and played with ladybirds while the rain showers stayed well off-shore - even the beach was quiet with no more than 10 people strolling along the strand.

The four of us are all windswept and interesting and have caught a bit of the sun - well the dogs not 'cause unfortunately he had to wear a fur coat all day but he still had a good time.
