Marist Adventures Day #3

The goal for today was to go hiking at Mohonk Mountain on the other side of the river in New Paltz, so me, Jilly, and Liz set off to do just that. After driving around for a while we found Mohonk Mountain. It cost $20 PER PERSON to hike. No way were we doing that, so we left to find another place to hike. Found another, but it was $12 a person. Still not good because we're college kids who wanted to pay like $10 for parking and that was it. We finally did some research and discovered there was a place nearby that fit out wants, but we drove around forever and couldn't find it, so after wasting half a tank of gas we headed home without hiking.

We ended up at Samuel Morse's property in Poughkeepsie. He brought photography to America and invented Morse Code. It was another really pretty property.

At night, I went with Elissa, Alex, and Sam to the drive in which was the coolest experience ever! So much fun and Fast and the Furious 5 was pretty good too!
