Plant sale
Each year about this time gardeners and members of the village horticultural society converge on the village hall to hold their annual plant sale. There are always some good bargains and this is my haul for this year - all obtained at bargain prices. There's a centaurea, aubergines, a butternut squash, a wisteria I intend to try and grow as a standard and a punnet of locally grown strawberries. Not much beats the taste of your first British grown strawberry of the year...
For the record: 14C, sunny periods, windy
