Eurovision Night!

Feeling a bit better again today but still not 100% as one minute I feel full of energy so tackle the next task and within minutes I'm exhausted. Tried to tackle the ironing but 6 items in and I had to admit defeat! What a shame! (Not! LOL)

Big night tonight...Eurovision Night! Bit of a family tradition although we still mourn loss of Terry Wogan from the competition. Still Graham Norton does a good job.

E & K coming over as per usual but minus my neice and nephew...sign of the times that they're growing up and have their own Saturday night plans. Still, we will eat good food (homemade lasagne), drink good wine (and gin!) and have a right hoot at what passes for music in Eurovision Land!

Jedward FTW! hahahahahahaha......

Oh yes, almost forgot, todays blip is of the most beautiful roses and freesias that hubby stumbled across on our doorstep when he went out the house earlier. They were in a bag along with a huge bag of Cadbury's chocolate buttons. No card or anything with them to indicate who they're from. We've been at home all day so it's not as though we were out and missed whoever it was!

We can only guess that it's a friend who has heard about our good news this week and didn't want to disturb us (or catch all the germs that are currently flying around this house!!!) I am sure we will find out soon enough who they are from but it was a lovely surprise and has warmed my heart and made me grin from ear to ear.
