Pandorica

Dozy plays in her school's steel pan group... Pandorica.

Today they played at an opening of something or another, to the local MP and other pompous nobs dignataries.

Regretfully I arrived to late to see the primary school's dance about the life cycle of a caterpillar, shucks!

Dozy plays Lead Tenors (melody) these are the drums in the front row. Dozy is at the far end. Standing behind them are the Double Seconds (chords). The rest of the pan's names are nicked from other instruments. You have Guitars (syncopated rhythms) Cello's (broken chords) and Bass (bass line.) They are going on tour to Germany next year, more expense. I am only pleased that Dozy does not bring her pan home to practice!

Nando's tonight, followed by Eurovision (a guilty pleasure.) Jacca officially reaches teenagership tomorrow, gulp, my youngest child a teenager - how did that happen?



Many thanks again for the comments, hearts, stars and spotlights over the last few days. I am always surpised when anyone wants to look at my blips, let alone take the time to comment on them. I am also pleasantly suprised at how well using the manual settings only has gone. Will catch up tomorrow.
