Wild Dogs!

The first thing they ask you when you arrive at your safari lodge is "What would you most like to see?" I got my wish!

Wild dogs are so endangered that the chances of seeing one are very rare. Our guide was told there were Wild Dogs around; he found out from one of the guides of Mfuwe lodge who was driving Jonathan Scott around, whilst he was still drinking his coffee, (that was a good safari spot too!).

Our guide took us to the spot they were last seen, but they were not there, but like any good safari guide he did not give up! We followed the dry river bed round and found them digging holes in the river bed to escape the heat of the sun.
