Victoria Falls - one of the 7 Wonders of the World

Today was amazing - we woke early and trekked to the Victoria Falls crossing a very thin walkway to look at the falls. The sound of the water is huge - the Zambian's call the Falls "Smoke and Thunder" which sums it up nicely - the vast spray soaked through every bit of clothing - such an exhilarating experience and totally mesmorising. Victoria Falls makes up one of the 7 Natural wonders of the world, the other 7 wonders of the world are: Grand Canyon, Great Barrier Reef, Harbor of Rio de Janeiro, Mount Everest, Aurora and the Parícutin volcano - they are all on my list to do if these Falls are anything to go by.

This picture was taken from a helicopter which again was totally exhilarating. I took so many pictures but chose this one as you can see a lorry on the bridge for a sense of perspective.

Today we also went on Elephant Safari and took a Steam train that stopped over the bridge - our third view of the Falls in a day from a different perspective. I wish I could blip all the photos!
