Looking for a spouse

This picture made me feel a bit sad. it was taken in a park in Shanghai. I was lucky to be allowed to take it as apparently this business is usually so serious that pictures are not allowed. The papers are put there by parents who are looking for a spouse for their child.There are a lot of details on the pages including height, weight and income.The details of potentialbrides are on one side of the path and grooms on the other. The display goes on for several 100s of yards and the parents all look very very solomn
