...and it's goodbye from him

Today I obtained a new mobile phone, a Blackberry smartphone in fact, and my dear little Sony Ericsson was confined to history. He's been a good chum to me for, I believe, the last seven years. During that period he has barely been switched off. He was my alarm clock, my texting tool and camera (before that function packed in). Oh yes, and a phone too. Amazingly, he contained the same battery that he came with.

Fittingly, I shot this image with the Blackberry... although, unused to the device, the image has a softness that I prefer to call "painterly"...
