My View

The view from my kitchen window, which I have looked out from for 37 years - (long time to be in one place)has changed.
What was once a lovely park and sports ground is now being filled up with classrooms for the University.
This is because of the earthquake of Sep 2010 and February 2011, and many University buildings have been so badly damaged, that these temporary class rooms are being erected. There are about 60 of them in this area, and I can expect that they will be there for some years.
The only bonus I see for us, is that the cold southerly will not blast across the open space.
Fortunately there is another park very close by which I frequent with Amber., so not all is lost.
