Incy Wincy Spiders

This morning I noticed in the centre of a web hung across bramble leaves, a ball of newly hatched spiderlings.

I'm not sure of the species, but they are boldly marked on their backs with yellow and black.

Within a few hours they would have dispersed, so it was a stroke of luck to find then still in a huddle.
