New York, New York

A Friday blip singalong.......all together now........

errrrr.......ok.......you've spotted it - its not New York (more's the pity). Its Stirling in Scotland - so good they named it 4 times. Which must make it twice as good as New York! My vagabond stravaiging shoes took me over the Spikey Bridge to take this photo of Stirling Railway Station (complete with uneven surface in case you think my camera technique is wobblier than usual).

If New York is the Big Apple, what would Stirling be? (Suggestions in comments if you wish). One abstract answer might be 'the wee conker': as not many armies managed to conquer the place. (I know, that was terrible but its Friday and a wee bit of frivolity on a Friday is no bad thing in this difficult age we live in).


"..........It's up to you Stir-ling, Stir-ling". Doesn't quite have the same ring as New York, New York does it?
