My son had an eyesight check-up today, and thankfully, the glasses he has been wearing at school for the past couple of months have been helping his vision.
Dropped him back at school, then hummed and hah'd over having a drive around the countryside instead of going straight home, what with petrol being so damned expensive.
I had that detour, and saw some lovely cottages and colourful fields along the way home, and was glad i did it.
