Electric Blue - Good or Evil

A work asppointmnt took me out to Chertsey in Surrey. Normally I have no particular connection to a place but this was slightly different. One of my best friends lived here with his family. About 50 feet from this pylon.

Over the years there have been many reports about whether living close to electric pylons, mobile phone masts, etc, cause cancer. 50 feet is certainly close enough to hear the hum of the power as it speeds through the wires.

How his wife ended up with a brain cancer no-one knows. Was it always there and just grew over time, did the pylon trigger the growth, did it cause it?

For me the jury is out on all these thing but I wouldn't fancy taking the chance of living close to one. Particularly that one. It may already have a record.
