Not First Bridge!

This is the iron bridge over the River Severn at Abermule , Mid Wales.

The inscription reads " This second ironbridge in the County of Montgomery was erected in the year 1852". Strange.

The first is at Llandinam, also on the Severn and was erected by the welsh industrialist and politician, David Davies, famous round here but possibly less so where you live.
