Broken Sword

Just like Excalibur this sword was once broken. It was handed to a father who used ancient skills, once thought lost, to repair and renew the sword to its former glory. A sword fit for a king. The son took the sword and went forth into the land to spread the word of his fathers greatness.

Its great when you fix things for your kids. Louis was playing with this plastic sword the other day and the blade kept dropping off. The sellotape holding the blade on was not much good but Louis didn't seem to mind that much. I repaired it and although its a good inch shorter, it is as if I performed some amazing feat that only dad could do. His first instinct was to run off and show mum. As I say, its great when you fix things for your kids.
