Last minute blip

I went out straight after work to meet friends for a drink.

Briony was coming home, catching a late train.

We met at the pub, somewhat after last orders (sorry Briony, didn't get a chance to buy you a glass of rose).

Taxi home.

It's late, nobody has eaten. It's amazing what you can rustle up from a handful of ingredients at a ridiculous time of night.
