A lesson from the Dr

Another busy day at work but glad to have my girls back home safe and sound. Nice to see their grandad as well - the girls were really excited to show him the iPad and all their games on it.

Working from home again tonight, got a project that *needs* to be finished and it's time consuming and fiddly and I'm tired outy after a hectic day in the library, but more hours mean more nice things for my girls!

I picked up a pair of flats last week - I'm in very high heels most of the time and only have one pair of flatties so my new shoes are my blip. Before I turn into a stereotypical lady who has lots of shoes (I do!) I looked at them and remembered those classic lines from Dr Suess.

A lesson for my girls, for me and for you.

"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. You are the guy who'll decide where to go."
