Oh Hello There!
Dandies make a nice background for a picture I thought, as I walked Breagha this afternoon, in between the heavy showers. Poor dog, all she wanted to do was enjoy the sniffs in the field, and she was told to sit and stay for ages.
I've been absent for a wee while now. At first it was due to having a crisis over the pictures I was taking. I felt they were just being too repetitious - and was beating myself up trying to think of different subjects to take pictures of. I love my flowers, my grandsons, the dog, trees, nature that sort of thing. Landscapes baffle me as I have no idea where to focus to try to make it interesting. With work too, I'm limited to the time I have to do any photography, and lunchtimes involve walking Breagha. Then, I thought, look, just do what pleases you, that's what it is all about, and a wee story of my day, to look back on and ro remember.......
And I must confess, after not doing this for ages, I got lazy!! Then, lunchtime today there were 3 messages, which made me get off my butt and get on with it again.
Also, I wanted to express my sadness of the loss of Molly. How many times have I laughed out loud at her stories of life on the Tuscan hillside, or some past incident in her life? And why was I so sad at the death of someone that I had never met, but felt that I knew well? She was one of the first to leave a comment when I started here, and we had many an exchange of little stories. One such being that she really coveted Breagha's golden fur, wishing she had hair this colour!! We were moaning about the constant covering up of the grey of our own salt and peppered hair. She is missed . . . . . . ..
Hey, thanks to the 3 ladies who encouraged me to get back blipping!!!
