The ship repair industry in Dubai is immense, I wrote before that the drydocks here are the biggest in the world. Where the real-estate has collapsed completely since the financial crisis, the shipping industry seems to flourish. Here you see both, the busy shiprepair industry and the motionless construction sites where the large towercranes came to a complete stand-still.
