happiness
Oh this 'happiness' challenge was a tough one. But then I:
1. delivered my brother's new bike to him. He was absolutely chuffed with it and had this big daft grin on his face as he cycled up the street and back (he hasn't cycled for a while...)
2. took my dad to the nursing home to visit my poor mum, who was surprisingly chirpy and managed to smile at one of my daft jokes
3. drove with my dad through the beautiful backroads to Haddington
4. dropped in at the care agency office and had a chat with two of the ladies there - they have been brilliant looking after my mum and dad for the last couple of years
5. took my dad to lunch, where he told me he'd had a great time today!
I worry a lot about my mum and dad (now living on his own); maybe happiness is what happens when you stop worrying about it.
The blip was taken on one of the aforesaid backroads, between Gullane and Aberlady.
