Sparkling jewels...........

..................well, at least, raindrops!
I love the way in which the Alchemilla holds the raindrops after the rain had dried up everywhere else and they just catch the sun and sparkle.
I looked up in a gardening book and here is what it says -
"Alchemilla mollis takes its name comes from the Arabic, meaning little magical one, due both to its reputation for having healing properties and because its leaves catch the morning dew. In the Middle Ages, the water collected from alchemilla leaves was believed to have magical properties.".............
Now you know!!
