Mono Bench

Don't know whether it's a cold or hay-fever but my head felt like it had been kicked around a football field for an hour. And I just wanted to sleep! But had to steel myself to work and plough away at editing this massive geographical dataset I've been working on. Glad to get out for some fresh air at lunchtime.

This evening started to watch Series 1 of Madmen on DVD (I've never seen any of it but love "The Sopranos" and since this is from some of the same people I thought I'd give it a try). But interrupted by a long and interesting phone call from the secretary of the Welsh Mines Preservation Trust (metal mines that is) which I'v recently joined.
