Greetings

It looks nicely cosy inside, at least in this corner where a few of this year's cards were displayed (or did I move them specially into the sun for blip's sake?).

I didn't get as many cards as usual this year. I wonder is this because I only give cards with presents and never send any by post? I remember my Mum had a strict policy of only sending cards to people who sent cards to her (and got quite upset if others didn't behave similarly). I never got bitten by that bug.

Whatever my doubts about the whole business and the dreadful commercialism of it all, I must admit that it is really nice to get a Christmas card from someone I've been out of touch with for a while. It's definitely a great way to reestablish contact.
