Carnivore!

One of the most famous eating experiences in Nairobi is where until 2004 they served most of the game creatures that visitors would have travelled to the Masai Mara to see on the menu. However, the government band the serving of some of these animals and so instead the delicacies now on offer range from beef, lamb, pork to ostrich, crocodile and even ox balls!

The menu is a fixed price and entails a procession of meats being brought to the table on long swords and pushed directly onto your plate. In the middle of the table is a flag and when you have had enough protein you surrender by knocking over the flag. We had a good go but after about the 15th meat you can see eyes glazing over in meat overdose and surrender was inevitable.
