May Flowers?

We all know the saying 'April showers bring May flowers', but that sure isn't the case so far this year. Yes we're seeing some of our trees bloom, but we're having more rain than usual even for Seattle. We get a day or two of sun followed by 3 - 5 days of rain. It was raining particularly hard on my drive home this afternoon. I'm not only ready for May flowers, but also some May sun!
