Knots

Untangled a few knotty little problems at work this week, and at lunchtime today I went for a stroll around the Cathedral grounds. I've never noticed it before but there is a beautiful little herb garden, which is open to anyone, and within the herb garden there are two lovely knot gardens. This is a photo of one of them. It was such a nice thing to stumble upon in the middle of a working day.

Walking back to work I passed by one of the guys selling the Big Issue. When I said 'no thank you', pleasantly and with a smile, he replied "that's okay miss, that's the most beautiful smile I've seen all day". I almost wept.
