You wouldn't think that this girl was only a day or two away from sitting her Higher English exam, so serene she does look. I have every faith that all will be well and that she will knock the examiner's socks off.

I vaguely remember how I felt at this same point. I found it so hard to see past the exams, they seem so very important at the time. And they really are, it's just that after it seems hard to remember why they seemed so unconquerable. You never want them to come and you don't want to have to wait for them. I hope Ellen isn't too worried. I think it's a common reaction but I would rather be sitting her exam than watching her go through it. It'll be over soon...
