I'm Here!!

18 months 20 days

Katie's enjoyed the day today. We started off having a bath! I bathed her last night and it took 45 minutes to convince her to get out, every time I tried she wanted more-more splishsplash. This morning as soon as I said I was having a bath, she started pulling her clothes off and ran in the bathroom.

We went to tea and toast, she was having a lovely time playing with Kiki and Emma, and ate a whole load of toast. We walked home down the high street and she asked for cheese straws, so we stopped for them.

We headed off then and met Ava and her mummy for lunch. Katie was asleep when we arrived and was pretty sad when I woke her up, but after a mummy-snuggle she had come round and was jolly pleased to see her bobbins. Ava, Monkey and Baby (her doll)- Katie was a happy girl. We then all went to skating. Katie insisted that Monkey and Baby came on the ice. I managed to hide Monkey (he'd have been soaked!) but Baby was the compromise. She had a wonderful time though, pushing Baby round on the blocks, in the car. She was really confidently whizzing round and cried when I took her off the ice to come home!

We stopped off to feed Harrison's rabbit, and she asked to go on the swings. She pushed the toys, put them both down the slide, and herself several times too. It's been a busy but fun day.

I dont have a flower picture today. But I do want to acknowledge the very sad loss of Molly. A beautiful person, a gorgeous journal, a fantastic friend to such a huge number on here. She'll be greatly missed by many. The day Molly died, my Aunty Sheila died as well. Sheila was a very lovely lady. I will remember her as a friendly face who always had time for me when I was a child. With big deirdre barlow style glasses, but an even bigger smile. None of it makes sense to me. Rest in peace, ladies xxxx
