Chicken's day off

Why did the Pheasant cross the Road?
Because it was the Chicken's day off!

OK, Not a brilliant photo I know, but I was in the car at Exceat waiting in a que of Traffic at a Standstill after coming down the big hill & stopping outside Seven Sister's Educational Shop.

Slowly the traffic went around the corner, so I thought "I'll switch on my camera", this I did, just in time to see this beautiful Pheasant walking across the road leading to Littlington.

I was on my way to work, so here is another shot of my journey to or from work here in East Sussex.
