New wheels

Once upon a time, there was a chance that an entry titled 'new wheels' could mean a new sporty little car.

Then we moved to Canada and new wheels most likely meant a new mountain bike, which cost as much as that sexy little motor.

Now my excitement for new wheels is our new buggy, or stroller as they are called here. Stroller, diaper, crib. Buggy, nappy, cot. I wonder what accent our kid will have? I guess I don't have to worry about that for a while yet - crying babies seem to have a universal accent.

For now I will keep talking to my baby bump with as many Scottish words as possible. Help ma boab! Maybe I should just read the bump some Oor Wullie.
