Benjamin Moore HC-89

Ever since I was a little kid, I would look at colors and see all the colors that went into making the color that I was looking at. I knew that red and yellow were swimming around together in that orange, knew that yellow and blue would make green and that purple couldn't be anything but blue and red making love. I can look at a color and mix the colorants needed to create that color without a formula. I thought everyone could! My husband says, "No, that's why people use a color wheel." "Oh", say I, "that's what those are for!" :-)

Anyway, this is Oxide Yellow, Magenta, Black and white - After it comes out of the shaker it will be a vivid gold - can you see it? I can! And when I look at the finished product, oxide yellow, magenta, black and white will be swirling around in my head just like they did in the shaker!

I think the center of the earth might look a bit like this!
