A new interest of Amelie's. She likes using pen and pencil to make marks (fine lines, heavy lines and dots) and prefers to eat the crayons and paint. I have to be honest though, being an ex student of art, my supplies are a little bit advanced and sophisticated for someone so young. Gnawing wasn't what I had in mind when I purchased my charcoal pencil and I certainly never envisaged finding my oil pastels in a [soiled] nappy. Oh how life has changed!

Speaking of changes; 1 year olds and alphabetised CD collections don't mix that well either.

Anyway, we have had a really lovely day today. Baby explorers and then tea and biscuits at stay at home Steve's with Loukeengood and the lovely Rose. Then it was home for dinner which Amelie didn't eat due to an excessive amount of snack stealing this afternoon. She fell asleep drinking her milk and haven't heard a peep out of her since.
