Musical youth

When we bought our fancy-pants, CD player, amp, surround speakers, blah, blah, the guy said to take the covers off the speakers because they look cooler and having them on is like listening to music with a sock over your head. He did ad that we should put them back on if we have kids. At the time we didn't. We do now. This is what he meant.
