Out walking at the Limes today for a change. It was a.) very pretty and b.) very hot (when we got in the car, the little display showed it was a a rather sultry 37 degrees. And that's yer Centigrade degrees not yer Fahrenheit ones). Saw a hare, which disappeared sharpish, and heard something bigger crashing about.

We also found another ant's nest that was swarming with flying ants. Tried to Blip that and failed miserably - which is a shame as I rather liked the whole thing.

That means today's Blip is a little flower that's growing in the garden. As you'll have noticed I like me flowers.

In other news, last night's Sprachschule was the slowest ever lesson. I think we got through about 4 pages and there was little to brighten the gloom. However, there was one little laugh provided by the German word for best seller. A popular song is often known as a "hit" and to sell in German is "verkaufen" and correspondlingly a Hit seller is Verkaufs-hit (only without the hyphen). I was waiting for one of my classmates to just get the emphasis wrong and bless Anon, he did. It's not that funny but I was grasping at straws.

Today's song is from Dhoom and probably isn't a big favourite with a lot of people. I think it's quite funny and sweet. But then i'm one of the very few who really doesn't mind Uday Chopra at all.
