The other side of yesterday

Aren't dogs' tongues amazing. How can they get enough to drink?

When I'm thirsty it's wonderful just to drink down a glass of water or whatever. I don't take that for granted. I remember many years ago when my dad had throat cancer and he had his voice box removed. He couldn't eat or drink normally because he was fed through a tube but he really missed tasting food. He would put food in his mouth to taste and have to spit it out. Not being able to swallow was very frustrating for him.
