Gas?

We spent more time helping clear a relatives house today. At one point the plumber who was there thought he could smell gas (I didn't think it was, but we figured it was best checked). The gas emergency people came with lots of gadgetry to check for leaks - here is something hooked up to the supply pipe to help them trace it back to the main.
