Messy Play

First proper day of holidays today. Hubby took his car for an MOT then went to visit his mum and a lawyer. H and I stayed in and my friend J came for lunch. we had a lovely chat, mostly baby stuff as she is due in August. I loaned her a few bits and pieces that I won't need for a while!

I had promised H that we could do some painting this afternoon, so after J left, we set up on the kitchen floor. Oh what a mess!!!! It was good fun, but I really wished I had run a bath before we started, as I couldn't leave H in the kitchen whilst I ran a bath, but I couldn't take her with me covered in paint either! So we waited on hubby to come home and run a bath for both of us! Then we dispatched him to the local take away and enjoyed a lamb bhoona for dinner which H loved!!
