The Ardagh

The road to the Ardagh leads down through this avenue of trees.

The Ardagh is a council owned tennis court and bowling green.

You wouldn't know it's there even as you pass it.

There are no clear signs, no posters, no advertising.

They are worried that it's not used enough.

I wonder why.

It's a nice spot.

There's always a peak around Wimbledon fortnight and then quiet again.

A great day to walk to school - that 'Goldilocks' temperature, one or two fluffy clouds scudding across the sky and everything seemed right with the world.

Then I got to work!
