Jungalists

Above is home for the next couple of days, a cabana nestled in the jungle - our base to explore the ruins of Palenque.

It's an interesting palce, scattered with thatched accommodation, plus an outdoor bar and restaurant.
We were even lucky enough to catch some great live music from a Mexican band that was passing through.

There are also more geckos than you can shake a stick at - quite possibly my new favourite animal.
