All By Myself

We try to take it in turns at putting the kids to bed so one night I do Louis whilst L does Alana and the following night we swap over. It doesn't always work out like this but we try. Tonight was my turn to put Louis to bed. He usually has some picture stories but we are seeing how he goes with some good old Enid Blyton and her Magic Faraway Tree set of books. I knew he had the imagination as he's really liked the stories I've made up for him (with him as the central character going on adventures with a little man who lives behind the milk in Tescos). He seems to be enjoying it so far.

After his story I said goodnight and left him looking at some books and a little while later he shouted down that he's read a book all by himself and shouted for me to let mum know. He was very proud of himself. Anyway. this is the book he read. Its an amazing story about a motorcycle riding granny who goes shopping!
