Grey Heron

The swamp I mentioned in this blip has suddenly emptied in the last few days as the water has drained back into the lake - the fish are apparently done breeding. Today there were lots of herons picking up the few small fish that remained in the shallow waters.

I backblipped again for the last two days...I did not know I could do that until a few days ago and it has proven very convenient as I have not had much time to comfortably sit behind my laptop and browse through my photos lately. Today I finally had a day off.
