I know too many people that claim to hate this stuff. I reckon it is vastly underrated. Be it spread with crunchy peanut butter (not done that for a while I admit but it was a regular during Sunday tea as a youngster), used as the base of a soup (like my chicken one simmering on the hob right now) or risotto, or simply dipped in houmous (how do you spell that?!), it's a cracker in my book.

Wow Liverpool are two up already......heading back to Maxwell Simm now my latest read, he's in Knutsford services at the moment in a Prius which sort of inspired this....

Anyway enough rambling.....
