Cactus

Busy all day cleaning the terrace, repotting plants etc., OU, cooking, cleaning dust. Then siesta. Not a lot of time for finding a photo to blip.

I played, I must admit.

I don't like cactuses usually but this one is special as my husband gave it to me the first summer we were in this house. As we only came here occasionally he gave it to me on the basis that it might survive until our next visit. It has. It began as a tiny plant in one of the smallest pots I have ever seen and has grown huge. Last year it had flowers!
